After entering the main entrance in the northern part of the zoo, we turn we first face the bird of prey aviaries with owls, bald eagles and cinereous vulture. Behind it is the house for tropical birds, home to the sunbittern and Blyth's hornbill among others. Across we find the entrance to Regenstein's African journey, with Aardvarks, klippspringers and pygmy hippos among others. Outside again and turning left we meet penguins and polar bears. Following the building around we meet giraffes and black rhinos. Now we have reached the lion house and see behind it the primate house. Here we find species like black howler monkey, francois langur and pied tamarins. Following the lionhouse again we meet the seals and then we enter North American area with black bears, otters and wolves among others. At the following Regensteins  small mammal-reptile house we find pygmy slow loris, naked mole rats and black tree monitors just to mention a few. Theire neighbour are two great lakes with flamingos, swans and ducks. Across we find the African ape house with gorillas and chimpanzees. Then taking a stroll around the ungulate house we meet sichuan takins, Grevy's zebra and red kangaroo. Passing the brige on a great lake we at last reach the zoo farm with cows, ponys and pigs.
